Grenitab MD is a prescription medication in the class of antiemetics. It is used primarily to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting associated with various medical treatments or procedures such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or after surgery.

• Granisetron — 1 mg (in tablet form)
• Granisetron belongs to the class of 5-HT₃ receptor antagonists (serotonin receptor blockers). Its action is to block certain serotonin receptors in the body (especially in the gastrointestinal tract and in the brainstem) that are involved in triggering the vomiting reflex.

Grenitab MD is used for:

• Preventing and reducing nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy.
• Preventing nausea and vomiting due to radiotherapy.
• Management of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), i.e. after surgical operations.

• Headache
• Weakness
• Constipation
• Diarrhoea
• Insomnia or difficulty sleeping
• Dizziness or drowsiness

If side effects are severe or persist, one should inform the doctor.

Before using Grenitab MD, certain precautions are important:

• Inform your doctor if you have liver problems, kidney disease, or any heart conditions.
• Also mention any blockages in the stomach or intestines.
• It may make you feel dizzy or drowsy, so avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next dose. Do not double up to make up.
• If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately. Overdose symptoms may include severe headache, increased dizziness, or other serious effects.

• Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place.
• Keep away from direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
